One of my primary responsibilities as a Graphic Designer for Centric Brands is creating and publishing content for the intranet in alignment with the Internal Communications' editorial calendar. I design graphics and page layouts for the daily editorial articles that go live on the site. Articles range from various topics that share business-related news with our colleagues. Stories published on the site include, but aren't limited to, inside scoops on our brands' latest collection, interviews with recognized associates, to announcing office closures. I also manage the site's backend by creating posts and making necessary edits and updates to permanent web pages. Since starting at the company in 2021, I've assisted in the intranet transitioning platforms and migrating content from Staffbase to WordPress. In addition, I communicate on an ongoing basis with the developer to assist in site maintenance and implement new site features. The site is accessible to over 1500 employees across North America, the UK, and Asia offices. The intranet's content accommodates two languages - English and French for our Canadian colleagues.

Another responsibility I have is designing and deploying email communications. I design all emails from templates created in Microsoft Word and deploy them through Microsoft Outlook. With 1500+ employees across offices in North America, Asia, and Europe, I'm also tasked with filtering and sorting through distribution lists to make sure applicable emails reach appropriate audiences. I also work with HR partners in our Canadian offices to translate emails into French.

While the intranet and email communications all build employee engagement, I've worked on projects that fulfilled those goals that went beyond those channels. For example, I have designed logos and branding that launched our Employee Resource Groups, including Run+, WIN (Women's ERG), and the DE&I Committee. Save-the-Dates for in-office and virtual events are other projects I've also had a hand in.
